"Is it acting differently this time then it did during the last run to 9."

Though your post wasn't addressed to me, I thought I would throw my pennys worth of opinion into the pot.

This run up in share price has been much different than the last big run up. The last was caused by a rumor that YAHOO was going to enter into some kind of alliance or out right purchase of PC Quote. After that rumor fizzled there was a small run up fired off by several news releases which came out in the same time frame.

This time the rumor is again that PC Quote has a major buyer and that news of the buy out is soon to be released. There have been several favorable news releases in the last two weeks, which have helped the price to climb also.

The difference between this time and last time is best explained by looking at the speed with which they occurred. Last time the run up and pull back happened within days of each other. This time, the stock price has moved up in stages instead of one or two swift moves over a two day period. Note that each time the stock price has moved up this time it has not been on news just released. The financial news release and the Omega news release supported the run up in price but did not cause it. This time the buying has been sustained over several weeks with gradual pullbacks after each price increase. Its been a very orderly increase instead of a sudden increase. The chart has established several small support areas on the way up this time, where there was no interim support area last time. This time the volume has been heavy on non news days. Last time most of the volume occurred over two or three days. It just feels that someone knowledgeable is buying shares on pending news that they are very sure of this time.

Again, just my opinion, but I wish I owned a lot more!
