Sure, I look at the charts to trade too. I've learned a few patterns of stocks I trade regularly. I never catch a falling knife. I usually sell into a crack above the upper Bollinger band, and frequently buy below the lower band (all in fundamentally sound tech stocks -- which is all I trade). Of course, there are only a few opportunities. I don't day trade -- if I did I'd scalp -- no position trading. But that is hard, boring tedious work. I am pretty confident about the tech trends. I try to keep my LEAP spread positions in long durations, and trade -- selling close to Ask and buying close to Bid to improve the spreads. Rarely lose much unless I hold to expiration which is often highly profitable, but scary work. Thanks for your advice.
