Thanks for all your good mail. Today, AOL opened at 127 7/8 and quickly dropped to 124 or less. Then, almost all day it was trading between 124 3/4 to 126 1/2 and change. Check big chart on 5 min. 1 day chart. How, can MM open at 127 7/8 on 3 million or so shares and rest of the day for about 18M shares or so kept it in the range. I don't understand it at all. MM finding buyers and sellers match for 18 million or so shares in an orderly manner, but couldn't find for 3 M shares or so?
How come 18 M or so shares couldn't move the price above 127 7/8 (open price) throught the day? Why MM kept the price in the range? Hope, you can explain the logic behind. Appreciated.
