What about taking this up with the Chronicle's editors? I've already registered my discontent, but more people complaining might cause them to look into Herb's games. What about the SEC? Would they have any interest in the HG-Rocker-MPEG Associates axis. As far as I'm concerned, the challenges are to find what Herb's personal connections to anyone at Rocker are and whether Rocker may have financed or facilitated the setup of MPEG. The former would constitute a clear conflict of interest and the latter would be in the fraud area. Who knows an investigative journalist who might be interested? If nobody does, let's bundle our speculation and send it to WSJ, Barrons, SEC, LA Times and anyone else who might have an interest in following up. I'd love to see some heat put on Herb. carl
