There was a good article in Investor's Business Daily on Ed I's negotiating deal with Microsoft 2 years ago. It was that great skill that got Citrix to where it is today. One interesting thing the article mentions was his friendship with the late CEO of Coke, Roberto Goizueta. Ed's father was the head of Coke's research department and as a boy Ed talked to Roberto often. He said Goizueta "taught him not to be mechanical but to truly care about what you do." That is something we can all live by. He also mentioned that it was a team effort in the negotiations with people that have negotiated with Microsoft licensing in the past. So remember, if they are in negotiations with anyone now or in the future, I am sure with Citrix's vision and negotiating skills it will add-value to our investments. Al C.
