Blankmind, I don't think Cramer had much to do with MSFT's move--you might be giving him too much credit. He is however good at sensing sentiment. Everybody was just watching on the sidelines hoping for better and better bargains on MSFT. Those stupid analysts kept moving the buy point lower and lower. Of course when thes people realize the stock is on the move---they jump aboard in a big way. You are right that some people do follow his trading strategy and this could affect stock prices a little bit. If this was last year (and I had permission to take big gambles), I would have bought the April 180 and 190s call options for bargain prices.

BTW--I did not mean any offense in my comment to you this morning.
