Maxtor 5120 is another top EIDE drive, it is the top EIDE performer for NT while WD Expert took the honor in Win98 category. The 5120 will certainly help HMTT to steal more "high-end" (cheap) EIDE market. I think the problem of HMTT is the rate DD technology is changing, it is not the problem of HMTT but the problem of the industry as a whole. When dd price is stablized like memory and HMTT able to show the street its 20% annual growth rate, HMTT will bounce back to $8+ quick. For now, there are better value elsewhere.
