Check out the list of WIND customers
wrs.com

Anyone else have the feeling that a big time breakout is imminent?

If you figure a royalty of $1 or 2 on every product they are designed into (cameras, cars, printers, cable modems, smart cards, etc. etc. etc.), the potential is huge.

25000 design wins!

Look at just the cisco connection. Jump to the Cisco page and do a search on cable modems. See how many customers Cisco has using their networks technology (which includes VxWorks).

Look at just the GM connection. How many power trains does GM sell per year.

How many set top boxes do you think NCI will sell. If Sony is using networks(and therefor Wind) in its cable modems, would it be too much of a stretch to think they might be using VxWorks in all sorts of other things-they did announce some type of deal between Wind and Sony last quarter. How many set top boxes could Sony sell?

In the last conference call, WIND said they have 70% of the navigation systems for Japanese auto manufacturers. This isn't even listed in the customer references!

Either they are deliberately trying to keep the price down or they need a new PR team.
