yeah, I know. The guy I dealt with at my branch says to me, "I can't let you do this because there is "infinite risk" in writing puts. What a putz, same risk as owning stock, they don't seem to mind when I do that. I place my bet and the stock craps out, I lose. I sell a put and the stock craps out, I lose. That theoretical "infinite loss" argument pissed me off, so I'm moving my business elsewhere. Anyway, it's not just the double commission, now I can only pick up half the potential time premiums. Well, I'll do better than just owning the stock, I feel confident of that.
I'll be posting some of my plays to Hermans thread if anyone is interested.
