You work at ROK? What are you, A janitor?? There is no talk of retail PC modem transfering at 56K. Never has been. It only works on a direct digital connection from the server. Most phone lines are POTS. With your POTS you will be able to recieve at 56k, while transfering at 33.6k. If you have digital at home, they call it ISDN. Better read all the posts several more times so it may become clear whats happening in the communication field.
