David: There's always a chance that one side of any partnership, or both, may decide to part ways before a projects' fruition. There are a thousand land mines out there for new enterprises to step on, some are fatal and some are not. So far, our upstart has already beaten the odds and made it beyond the point where many others have failed. There's still a distance to go and none of us know for sure how far or how dangerous the path remains.
IMO, we will have some major answers by this April.
As for the choice of Siemens over other large electronics corporations, I believe FNTN got flat-out lucky.
Sure, we all know that Michael Sheppard had a prior and good working relationship with Siemens, so from his standpoint I'm sure Siemens was a logical first choice. Luck came in to play when Siemens decided it was finally time to reinvent themselves. Out of Siemens' internal upheaval came a new and exciting corporate direction with a resolve to be bold and daring. American industry became the undisputed World leader with brashness, swagger and the resolve to evolve.
If the Mother of Invention is necessity, so is The Mother Of Reinvention.
Siemens is buying companies and partnering with companies at light speed. In the long run, some relationships may falter, but some will benefit from the energy field that currently surrounds Siemens - not unlike a mediocre basketball team that's carried by one star player to a championship.
FNTN has their own stars but the team lacks size.
What FNTN needs is a big center.
They may already have one signed.

Regards,
Wally
