John, I'm a bit late responding on this subject. You have a real point. I am not against a higher flat rate phone charge as long as that flat rate is applied to all phone users (teen age kid, like mine)not just those that use the net. If flat rates were abolished and all users had to pay a per min. charge I would say that your point of view makes sense.
