The ads pop up on the viewer. You simply click on them and they close after a few seconds. The ads don't show up on the actual fax. If they did, that would not be a feature anybody would want to use. Can you imagine being a salesperson on the road, making a presentation with one page of your presentation being a fax you received the night before with a big old ad on the top of the page. Try out the program. It works and I use it.
