I'm not underestimating anything. I will tell you that I run a private fund and have institutional resources. I have put out feelers on this whole issue and they have uncharacteristically come back with zero. We haven't heard a word from ATHM or T. That is unprecedented. Don't they think anything is happening, but they don't know what it is, do they Mr. Jones?

So you think that the stock market players know all about everything? No one seems to know anything here and that is twice as bad. Most of the players in ATHM are public. It is not an institutional stock.

The stock market is always wrong over the short run. It changes directions to reflect the input and appreciation of information. You will never know why a stock or the market is doing what it is. Therefore, don't expect that public buying is confirming that everything is wonderful in appreciation land. Information land may have another kind of ride.

To what brand are you referring? ATHM's brand is hardly established and it is irrevocably tied to TCI's brand. You think the latter brand is good? Don't go to Portland. Why do you think Comcast wants to get away from this disaster? Comcast-UMG can just as easily establish the RR brand. As more information is surfacing it is getting more and more remote that TWX or UMG is going to go along with a putative ATHM-RR merger. I can assure you that it would be contrary to the basis upon which the FCC allowed the T-TCI merger and certainly excessively aggregating. You're betting against the FCC brand.

As far as making a move based on the available facts, that takes guts. The third class suckers marry a stock and lose their guts. Don't be a sucker. In a bear market the bears are right.
