When you have wars in Balkans than you need to watch different parameters every morning. Dynamics of global markets are event driven, like I keep changing the selection of my favorite indices to chart the US markets, I am always for a look out for events that may de-rail US market, one such event is a confrontation with Russia and return of 'cold war'. It is for this purpose that I carry overnight and until such time this crisis is over ample protection of out of money puts like 1200 puts on SPM for April. For me peace dividend has been one of the most important reasons amongst many other's that equity markets globally have made new highs. We are progressing forward on a new paradigm of mutual prosperity and peace. When a hot spot erupts I try to change my radar parameters, right now I am closely watching these markets, a trouble in these markets will give us a two days warning of a major political re-alignment. Lot of scores remained to be settled in Europe if Serbia's step up their defiance, the players who will matter the most. So we need new tools and new vistas.
