This is the news release : "3/25/99 TO DEVELOP OWN PROPERTY TERMINATES JOINT VENTURE Chin Yong Wong, President and CEO, SRR Mercantile Inc. (the "Company") announces that the Company has terminated its Joint Venture Agreement of September 7, 1998 with Mexican Mining Corporation Limited. The Company has concluded a settlement agreement with Societe Victory s.a.r.l. in respect of the November 22, 1997 option and joint venture agreement. The settlement agreement calls for the transfer of 100% interest in eight concession blocks or perimeters in the north of Madagascar to SRR. The Company has decided to concentrate its resources on the development of these 100% interest perimeters following the settlement agreement with Societe Victory s.a.r.l. SRR's representatives are in Madagascar to organize and implement a bulk sampling and testing program that was recommended by Mr. Ronald B. Stokes, P.Eng., FGAA, a well-known Vancouver based Consulting Engineer & Gemmologist. Mr. Stokes had inspected and reported on these perimeters in 1997.
