CMVT had a nice little break thru the last 2 days. For about 2-3 hours this morning, it appeared that there was some profit taking and then the stock leveled out. So that looks good.

Also...in the news. Qualcomm announced a $24M contract with "JSC Sviazinform Chelyabinsk Region of the Russian Federation" today. It is to supply CDMA digital cellular and wireless local loop infrastructure, phones, network planning and installation. As a non-tech person, I'm not sure what that all means.

What I do know however is that a month ago, DGM&S, a CMVT wholly owned subsidiary, was named by Qualcomm as its supplier of DGM&S' OMNI Soft Platform as part of Qualcomm's CDMA wireless infrastructure equipment. At the time, Qualcomm gave a ringing endorsement of DGM&S. Based on that endorsement, the seeming fit between these two press releases on product description and the short interval between the two releases, it would appear that CMVT's bottom line should also profit from Qualcomm's contract.

See press release of Qualcomm - 5/14/96 and of CMVT - 4/5/96
