Crazy thought on the all important index averages. . .

Remember when the DOW would head south about 40 points ahead of the Nasdaq? Often girating back and forth until the Nasdaq would begin to track. Then when the Nasdaq crossed over about -50, the Dow would take a hard reversal and be the clear leader, often ending HIGHER than than the Nasdaq. I saw this happen at least a dozen times over the past few months. Looked manipulative. . .several times we discussed it, if I recall.

That is what today looks like. If this crazy scenario holds, watch the Nasdaq buck the trend, then finally wear out and begin to track the Dow. . . but after Nasdaq dips below say 40 or 50 or so, then watch the Dow race back north.

Just a wild thought.
