CORRECTION: My earlier post should have read g/t not %.

As for ore grade - I would use the Lac des Iles numbers as a guide. I
would want to see either 2 g/t combined PGMs near surface or 4 g/t at
depth. It depends on depth, width of intersection, grade, etc.. The deeper it is the higher the grade required.

I would also add:

1. Au, Ni-Cu or other credits could improve project economics
2. If its near surface, an open pit mine would certainly lower extraction costs
3. The size of an intrusion is critical (the larger the intrusion the
greater the potential for PGMs to concentrate in a deposit)... eg. Tib Lake (HLM) is 25 sq. km vs. Lac des Iles (NAP) is 35 sq. km. On Tib lake, at least the Border and Lower Zones are anomalous with major ore forming processes at work: magma mixing leading to sulphide liquation (sulphide droplets), sulphide suspension (convection to allow sulphide droplets time to scavenge PGE's from the melt, crystal settling to concentrate droplets, and deuteric alteration (volatile flushing) to up grade further. This does not mean the Tib Lake intrusion has a PGM deposit or one could find it even if it is there, but the large intrusion (with what is described above) suggests systematic exploration of the Tib Lake intrusion is warranted.
