computer with a head-mounted video display. Weighing less than four
pounds, it is Windows, DOS, and SCO UNIX compatible and is used to
maintain multisite systems, retrieve and analyze remote-site medical data,
and coordinate military field operations. It can provide real-time two-way
video and audio communications, cellular linkups, Internet access, and
global positioning system tracking. Xybernaut also offers linkAssist and
webAssist speech navigation software. It sells to original equipment
manufacturers (AT&T), value-added resellers, distributors, and end users
(US Army).
