I was kidding. I do not seriously believe that Ken should be laughed at if he makes a prediction that comes up short.

I think you and I absolutely agree that anybody should be able to offer a serious opinion without being ridiculed for it.

Like you, I object to people taking the attitude that those who don't see things the way they do are either stupid or delusional. In my opinion, many of Ken's posts in the past have come off like that. It was for that reason that I said I wanted to be able to point out that his predictions were way off if he starts "getting arrogant". But I said that as a joke.

I think Ken is capable of being completely reasonable, and I have nothing against him personally. As I have said to him directly, I just prefer that he demonstrate an understanding of the fact that intelligent, rational people may view a given situation differently than he does.

I would say the same thing to anyone.

By the way, I appreciate the fact that you are interested in seeing a balanced discussion here, with both bullish and bearish viewpoints represented. I want to see that, too.
