That's another very good point that you make. For a company that has no channel and in a business where demand is periodic, it is indeed hard to imagine how the analysts have started making their predictions so early. I feel that DELL management has taken the initial steps to address the revenue issue, but somehow I suspect that the focus will change to margins if DELL comes out with good revenues. Which of course is a rather pointless exercise, you can't have it all, AFAIR CPQ has better margins than DELL.

Something will happen in the IBM-DELL relationship and I hope that they come up with that end of April, close to the end of the Q or after that, to provide some ballast.
