TED,
Actually, I like your interpretation better than my intention. In fact, under the "Reader Response" school of textual criticism, the "reader" or person that engages a text (whether written, or via film, tv, radio, etc...) is in the privileged position concerning textual interpretaion. Author intentionality counts less than the reader's interpreation. This interpretation comes from the combination of the reader's background, experiences, etc.. which is what they bring to the text to define it juxtaposed with the material. So, if you subscribe to that school of criticism, what it means is what you think it means.
By the way, I meant to say, "me buy ZITEL" not Matridigm.
And concerning the toliet seat, here it is (keep in mind I read this for 30 seconds today at the checkout line): Dottie received a letter from someone claiming to be a doctor in Washington, who chided her for spreading such a rumor. She told him to go to the Library of Congress, I believe she cited a source which under the heading of "unusual pregnancies" stated that some 3,000 pregnancies are the result of the toliet seat each year (how they figured it out is beyond me). She then said that as a doctor he should know better and called him a fool.
