This is looking like a long term buy & hold.

Absolutely agree. As Richie Cunningham used to say, I'd better just "SIT ON IT!"

The P/S ratio of AOL would value PCNTF @ $121.35/share and using AOL's P/E would value PCNTF @ $402.50

The P/S of MSPG would value PCNTF @ $70.74 and the P/E @ $157.08.

Now, hold on there, mighty Herc. I like your translation of the numbers very, very much. But to compare PacNet to AOL at this point is quite premature.

AOL's critical mass is such that eBay is coming to Steve Case and giving him millions. AOL gets more sticky eyeballs and cash, and both parties prosper.

For PacNet, there are no eBays out there right now, though there will be before long. Hong Kong is a major destination and coup for PacNet.

PacNet has to make itself far more visible and profitable before Wall Street will take notice. The massive growth part will come. I think Lee is an astute CEO; his early revenue slowdown warning was wise. And most seasoned net watchers understand the AOL model of expansion/spending before profitability issues.

I believe it will be a few months before PacNet really begins to gain attention and respect from Wall Street. I'm willing to wait. In the meantime, who knows if retail buyers will take notice? If history is an accurate gauge, Wall Street will be late to get on the wagon here, just like nearly every other great ISP and net stock.

Could PacNet catch fire soon? No one knows. Am I long PCNTF? Heck yeah.
