I wouldn't go adding 3 more plants quite yet..lets get one going first....I came up with 264 carats per day based on a grade of .22 carats per cubic meter, running a 16 hour double shift and running the plant at 1/2 capacity..75 cmphr....(based on what Ross posted).... I have heard a much larger number on plant capacity but no matter we can always use this figure and just double it for a low high....So we have a base or low of $37,000 per day. So the cost of running the material should not exceed 1.00 per ton or about 3.50 per cubic meter (based on my knowledge of running and crushing aggregates). So then the cost per day is like $3600.00 leaving a net to the three partners of $33,400.00 per day.
If they can run at those levels this should throw $167,000.00 per week !!!! or $700,000.00 per month or $8,000,000.00 per year excluding larger stones. So looks like your figures are right on the money being very conservative and excluding larger stones....DD
