Scotty, <,Has anyone suggested the possibility of Russian sales to fund the war ?>> IMO this is the reason that gold has been hammered .... to prevent its sale to finance a war effort ..... it's imperative that the US dollar be perceived as the safe haven, for the time being. A drop in the US dollar, at a time when military conflict is heating up, could be devastating for the stock market and the overall psychology of the American and other people .... hope the short hedge funds make the best of it.
