re: Wouldn't this make EBAY an excellent short? If you had anything worthwhile to sell, say you expected $50+ for this item... would you even consider anybody but Ebay? Don't people here think online auctions are a sticky business model? Once the leader is determined - and that happened a while ago with ebay - it seems like it will be almost impossible for an also-ran to make headway.
