Both of your suggestions are medium to longer-term additions to the software.

As far as scan templates, there is a tradeoff between the amount of scan criteria allowed and the time and resources in takes for a scan to be performed. Because you don't maintain a historical database on your local computer with IQ Chart, completely customizable scan criteria would take too long. IQC is working towards providing more criteria in the future.

Concerning scanning your "Favorites" or watchlist only, that is not something we are planning on incorporating into the scan (the scan is designed to find stocks you may not be aware of). Instead, I would say that IQC is considering a way to allow technical alerts for "bookmarked stocks". This might make more sense anyway, because the scan is for EOD data (often-times) used for entry, and many IQ Chart users are interested in intraday technical information for exit points.

Hope this sounds useful.
