Dave: I don't see any conflict. I worked for Triangle Publications when Rupert Murdock bought it from Walter Annenberg. Murdock had recently purchased Fox Studios and was beginning to build up his Fox Network. His main objective in the Triangle purchase was to acquire TV Guide, which he then used to great advantage while building his movie-TV empire.
