Whether it's made by MCI or Iomega, it's still an Iomega Zip drive. More importantly, it will use disks sold only by Iomega.

To me, it's really cool that the term "Zip Drive" is getting to be a generic term meaning "high capacity removable disk." Like Kleenex means tissues. Brand recognition is vitally important.
