What makes you think there is a reason?

Seriously, the stock peaked and then started to sell off. Money managers decided to sell and take profits or losses before the end of the quarter when technology is weak in the PC area anyway. Concerns over CPQ "stuffing the pipeline" as well as COMS problems highlighted the possible problems in the technology area. DELL concerns also hitting the tech area.

What does this have to do with AMKR? Not much. Significant real slowdown in the chip industry would hurt, but slowdown of the order of magnitude discussed so far doesn't look to be fatal.
