With long pants, tolerable. But is he wearing these with shorts as he represents us in the courtroom? Socks too? If so, I believe there must be a fashion law he's violating. I would recommend leather tevas with shorts. Comfy, hip, durable, and they convey confidence ("I don't care if the world sees my toes.").
