The 1% of sales would be consistent with the charges for the use of a patent portfolio.

I am inclined to believe that DELL was paying IBM a royalty fee.
If this indeed the case, then DELL's competitive position will be improved significantly.

As to there being no evidence of "channel stuffing" by CPQ, I was using CPQ and the other companies SEC reported inventory levels.
Are you suggesting that this is not evidence?
