But as for question about the rich and the tax system. Strictly speaking its the number of write-offs and deductions that can be made often for the silliest of reasons.

The average citizen can't necessarily qualify for the same kinds of deductions and therefore are left paying more in tax than they should. I had a friend that was making only $15,000/year and barely surviving. Ended having to pay $2,000 in income tax. I know another fellow who pulled down $250,000 last year and only paid $8,000 in tax. Not saying he didn't earn the salary, but the write-offs and deductions were obscene IMO.

Your comments about McDonalds are pathetic and not even worth responding too. It's obvious this week has turned you into a greedy slob.

And BTW, government IMO has a moral obligation to provide some funding or incentives for low-income shelter. Of course I don't suggest that they do so blindly without encouraging people to go out and get the skills to find better jobs, but you can't hold down or find good jobs without shelter you fool!
