Sal, <<I'm going to have to disagree with this: All sucessful tech companies rely heavily on customer feedback (for both products and services).>> As I pointed out earlier, there is a big difference between getting feedback to improve a product and relying on customers to fundamentally design (or redesign) your products for you. If your engineers are so poor that the most basic aspects of the products need to be fundamentally redesigned then you have a serious problem. BTW, I have worked as an development engineer (in a very sucessful tech company) responsible for releasing and modifying products. I currently work in a Product Planning group, so I do know just a little about how these things should work. FF
