Information on Index Data Updates: Index information is in fact calculated by the data provider (PR Quote, S&P Comstock, etc.), and transmitted a part of the overall data feed. I was able to get with parties both in and out of house on the index questions. We have determined that PC Quote send Down Jones Industrials data once every 30 seconds. The data is updated to the workstations as it is received. I realize that this is not an optimal situation for some. Therefore, we are talking with PC Quote to determine if they can increase the update frequency, and we are also looking at internal measures here (such as performing a calculation internally on a much more frequent basis)to compensate for this. As and when we come to resolution on this I will keep all updated. MKS
