The example you cited on the Dell thread:

Everybody is responsible for their own actions.

instead of:

Everybody is responsible for his own actions.

I'm not happy with "everybody" in this context; technically correct, but still too plural for my liking. Might better be:

Each person is responsible for his own actions.

I'm no great proponent of PC - I'm certainly not going to go about pushing it down anybody's throat - but I do make a habit of avoiding gender-specific pronouns in situations where they might cause offense or seem to be omitting half the people. It can usually be done with grace, with a little thought:

People are responsible for their own actions.

Should keep both correct ones and libertarians happy.
