gmccon: Everybody in the industry knows that people don't buy EMC for the speed, they buy it for the features, host connectivity, and (computer) vendor's support.
When MTIC catches up with EMC in any of the above, then MTIC investments won't be considered high-risk opportunities.
For the benefit of others on the thread, may I suggest that if one wishes to invest in storage subsystems, then put your money in EMC, and you have a sure thing. If you have risk capital to invest, then I would rather put it on red or black on the roulette wheel. You have a better chance of doubling your money, and the drinks are free.
(on a personal note -- I apologize for my last posting. After re-reading it, I certainly came across as a bit of a jerk, and that was not my intention. I merely wanted you to research for yourself, rather than just take MY word for it, as you admitted earlier that you were not in the storage industry. Please forgive me.) |
