No one does the housecleaning if the maid doesn't come. Lest you think me spoiled, let me assure you that I tried to do it myself and did for many years. BUt I'm BAD at it. And I hate it. And I think it is such a silly thing to have to do!!!!! And I have a friend who LOVES to clean house. She truly enjoys making order out of my chaos, and I enjoy her doing so- and it's wonderful. I did vacuum the feathers up. And after the date left I vacuumed the potpourri. Yes I know--- locking the barn door yadayada.. If it were just Dan and I, I could probably do it. BUt with the boys, and investing and writing, it's too much. No- I cannot lie, I still wouldn't do it.
