I didn't mean anything personal. My point was simply that what you are trying to understand is not fully understandable unless you are sitting next to the trader...which you are not. What you posted was correct as far as it goes, no argument there. What I wanted to point out is that what you described is something that happens in minutes, not hours or days. It would be rare for a trader to get really far behind on a stock, it can wipe him out instantly.

You cannot see what some particular trader is doing. Nobody can, not even the other traders, that is part of the game. These MMs play games with each other. It's Liar's Poker taken to the extreme. Many times, the guy with the most money is the winner, sometimes it's the guy with the bigger huevos. But the public always pays the spread.
