I know exactly how you feel about buying and holding ASPT. Let's just say that I wish I had held MSFT for this long. Any idea of how much 100 shares bought when it was first issued is worth today? About 1.2M. I don't think that ASPT has done a particularly good job of protecting the interests of shareholders over the years. I don't know whose job this is but maybe we need some new blood in this department. A new sales oriented management may be the answer. Right now there is a lot of fear factored into the stock price. That won't last! Hopefully the conference call will be more upbeat than the last one. ASPT is fond of saying that the shareholders are right up there with their customers, employees etc. But I think that they are so afraid of being sued by some disgruntled stockholder that everything is painted gray. IMO we need some fresh legal advise so that the compulsion to paint in tones of gray subsides. When it comes to the issue of proactive vs. inactive in getting the word out to the market, let's switch gears. The reason that pessimism prevails is that no one knows what is going on. Not even the analysts which is not all that surprising since they are notoriously late all the time. Reactionary. Sounds like the guy from H&Q may have a clue. Anyone else?
