Why do Cuban and Wagner want to sell, sam?

They're very clear that BCST is all about *scale.* As part of a much larger Net consolidator, BCST can grow vertically, horizontally and geographically at a much faster rate than as an independent firm. There's another way, which is Paul Allen's Vulcan Ventures/GNET formula. Here, a larger entity takes a big piece and puts up expansion capital. But YHOO and AOL need BCST badly, and they have in-place coherent structures with which to exploit it.

Under the circumstances, and given the accelerating pace of Net consolidation, it's in the best interest of BCST shareholders that a lucrative acquisition deal be made. Thus, this is the right move at the right time.

O-T: See you're into SEPR. What happened, and is today's sell-off a good entry point?
