What makes you think this leopard will change it's spots? Ampex and Bramson have never taken the quick route and it has cost them dearly in the past. Too slow to recongnize the changing technology. Putting their faith in patent lawyers that cost the company million of dollars with no tangable result. Seems like right now they are playing it by ear. Finding a niche for their technology and trying to buy an orginazation and network in order to deploy it. Fine if it works. But if it does not they are left with massive debt,lower customer base due to shrinking of the product lines and a very high end product that only few company's need. Perhaps they would be better served by trying to find a way to expand current product lines and make a more universally applicaple product that more companys could afford. Going for the homerun via the internet video play is fine but they still need to find a way to grow their core business. The business that will supply them the revenues to pay back all those loans.
