Those are fighting words. As a British national, I do have to take offense. The way we were taught at school was that the Americans were too concerned with other "important" stuff to be bothered. Finally the Japanese invited them to join the conflict and then all of a sudden it's "their" war... Then they arrived in England with Hershey bars and nylons and stole all the women from the regular blokes, who were all away fighting the Nazis. Oh well, I guess my memory is faulty...
