<<why does SI report the close at $16, even though it shows $13.90 as price of last trade?>> Because the trades have the wrong timestamp. Look at the time of the last trade: 5:12 pm. Yeah, sure. For real, the $16 price is for the trades around 3:30 pm. But since everything is translated 30-45 minutes, it shows that price at the close (4:00 pm). The last trade at $13.90 and 5:12 pm really occured at 4:00 pm. Use Yahoo, they have a feed from Reuters which is right on for Canadian stocks. IJ
