So Henry, what do you think of Soros' contention that freely floating FX markets are inherently unstable?

Are FX markets reflexive (self reinforcing), therefore trending, therefore encouraging trend-following behaviour, therefore inherently unstable? (lotsa therefores there - perhaps one of them isn't so strong?)
