An extra week to make up one's mind... Memc Electronic Materials Inc. Dow Jones Newswires -- March 26, 1999 MEMC Electronic Extends $94M Rights Offer ST. PETERS, Mo. (Dow Jones)--MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. (WFR) extended its $94 million rights offering to April 13 for foreign holders and April 16 for domestic holders. The offering was to expire April 8 for foreign holders and April 13 for domestic holders. In a press release Friday, the company said other terms of the offering are unchanged. MEMC also said it will post first-quarter results April 26 and preannounce available information April 12. As reported, under the rights offering, shareholders will receive 0.715 of a right for each common share held. Each right may be exercised for one common share at $6.89 each.
