Cristopher,

Unfortunately, as I remember, this was how our involvement in Vietnam started.. None of our political leaders questioned anything..
Just like now.. Rah,, Rah kick em ...

We had COOL solemn speaking men in suits, and uniforms,, reciting
statistics, SHOWING MAPS, one-sided presentations.. WE had to do THIS
or THIS WOULD continue to happen.. IT turned out to be ALL B.S. with
such TRAGIC HUMAN consequence.. for both sides.

Nobody involved the HUMAN FACTOR into the equation.. TECHNOLOGY
does it ALL , AS we KNOW, SO STERILE, SO CLEAN, KEEP OUR HANDS CLEAN
if you are on the side of dishing it OUT..

A side bar, Why the HELL does the Networks have all these ex-
Military acting as EXperts on the situations, As consultants, Why we
are there??

IMO, It is LIKE asking the MULE why the farmer is plowing the field? or the CHAINSAW,, why the logger is cutting the Tree??
OR At least I hope So, if we are still in a democracy, where the
military is the UNDER THE CONTROL of the Civilians.. Or Maybe we
Still need "CRISIS?" to test new weapons on live targets.. To keep
the military-industrial complex alive.. I hope not but these thoughts
come to mind..

Best wishes all..... the Coug
