Except from one incident 300 years ago Turkey always was a reliable friend of Germany.Today more as three millions of Turks live in Germany as consequence and I would say that's ok with every single German I know Can those Turkish "Auslanders" receive German citizenship yet? What if they're born in Germany?? Oh well... maybe one day. Then again, maybe the US policy is too open and we should limit immigration to only those who can reflect a needed skill.... <VBG> Not to demean Germany.... but I still believe there exists as much racism there as exists here in the US. But those immigrant minorities who have established themselves here as citizens do not face being deported to their country of origin for voicing their dissent. Regards, Ron
