".....Your license requirements will draw laughter from them. License to plant a tree. Where did you get the idea Madera was exporting plants, they will be exporting packaged oils/powders extracted from herb plants....."
from their press release, they will be exporting to the "u.s. & caribbean" according to the pr these "packaged oils / powders extracted from herb plants". i asked if they have an export license to do so from the brazilian rainforest. you're saying they do? you better recheck, they do not. perhaps they will be exporting these plants, herbs, from peru, but they do not have an export license to do so from brazil.
".......Do not be surprised if they ask you - why do you need such information. Is it going to may any difference once you have it? NO. ....."
wouldn't you think any investor has the right to know the answer to these questions before he invests? does it "make a difference?" are you kidding? you seem very ignorant of the fact that madera needs an export license for these herbal products. if you tell me madera has an export license for wood, & pays the brazilian govt for the wood they procure, i would tell you first that that license, if authentic, has nothing to do with exporting phytogenic or herbal products. secondly, the reason the brazilian govt. has rights to the rainforest's resources is because of the destruction caused to the rainforests by lumber companys, particularly by the japanese . my question is acknowleged in your response, i asked of what value is the land madera is selling if whoever purchases it has to, as you admit, must pay the brazilian govt. for the timber?
